<p>PURPOSE: To provide such a sheet material conveyance mechanism and an image formation device provided with it that change the conveyance direction according to many kinds of image formation modes and sheet materials. CONSTITUTION: A sheet material conveyance mechanism, which sandwichingly conveys sheet materials by a drive roller 18 and a conveyance roller 17 which is opposed to and abuts on the drive roller 18, is so formed that relative abutting positions of the conveyance roller 17 on the drive roller 18 can be set to a plurality of points. Changing in the conveyance direction of the sheet materials allows to convey them to the device connected at the lower reaches in the appropriate direction and prevents jammed, bent, and folded conditions of the sheet materials in the case of conveyance.</p> |
