PURPOSE: To reduce the operation quantity of an interference(IF) canceler and the circuit scale and to shorten processing time by providing a demodulation part with a receiving power measuring/comparing circuit and an IF wave selecting circuit for selecting an IF wave with a high receiving power level out of measured IF waves and setting up the selected wave as an IF wave to be removed. CONSTITUTION: The demodulation part 5 is provided with the receiving power measuring/comparing circuit 6 and the IF wave selecting circuit 7 for selecting one or more IF waves having high receiving power levels out of IF waves measured by the circuit 6 and setting the selected waves as IF waves to be removed. The circuit 6 selects an IF wave having relatively large receiving power in a training signal section. Since the IF waves are selected based upon the measured results of the circuit 6 and an IF wave whose canceling is unnecessary is not canceled, the number of IF waves to be canceled by the IF canceler can be restricted. In addition, the same training signal series can be positionally repeatedly utilized.
