PURPOSE: To easily detect the clogging state of a disinfecting filter to be used in a gas sterilizer with good accuracy. CONSTITUTION: The treatment of the materials to be sterilized in a sterilizing vessel is executed in order of a sterilizing process, pulsing washing process and blow washing process. The pressure P in the sterilizing vessel is dropped down to a prescribed pressure P1 and, thereafter, clean air is sucked through the disinfecting filter into the sterilizing vessel in the state of keeping a vacuum pump running. The time when the pressure in the sterilizing vessel rises up to a set pressure P2 or the pressure P in the sterilizing vessel after the prescribed time is measured, and the presence or absence of the clogging in the disinfecting filter is detected. |
