PURPOSE: To enable replacing either a box body or a difficultly reactive member when trouble occurs by providing a box body formed of a refractory material excelling in impact resistance and a setter formed of a material which is difficultly reactive during firing with an object undergoing sintering and removably fixed to the bottom of the box body. CONSTITUTION: A box body 1 is composed of a bottom plate 1a and side walls 1b and formed of a refractory material excelling in impact resistance such as alumina. A setter 4 fitted at the bottom of the box body 1 is a thin plate in shape and formed of a material, such as zirconia, which is difficultly reactive during firing with an object undergoing sintering. The setter 4 is passed through the opening 2 in the box body 1, the setter 4 is fitted in position by putting holes 3a, 3b in the box body 1 in alignment with holes 5a, 5b in the setter 4, one of fixing pins is passed through the hole 5a and into the hole 3a as deep as its bottom and the other fixing pin, through the hole 5b and into the hole 3b as deep as its bottom. In this matter the setter 4 is fixed to the inner side of the bottom 1a of the box body 1. |
