PURPOSE: To obtain a packaging box with a cushioning material, which excels in the function to protect the contents from impacts and mechanical pressure and is easily disposable as waste. CONSTITUTION: An upper cushioning material 3 and a lower cushioning material 4, which are fitted into a body of packaging box 1 of corrugated paperboard, are both made of corrugated paperboard. A handle 5 is attached to the upper cushioning material 3. After setting the lower cushioning material 4, an object 2 to be carried is put in place, the upper cushioning material 3 is put in place, the lid is put on, and the handle is pulled out. Both the upper cushioning material 3 and lower cushioning material 4 consist of blank of double-structured corrugated paperboard which comprises a first paperboard, first core paper corrugated in section, second paperboard, second core paper corrugated in a pattern differing from the first core paper, and third paperboard, laid one upon another in sequence, glued, and formed into a laminate. This blank material is wound double to form each cushioning material. |
