PURPOSE: To efficiently utilize the hardware resources by reproducing AV data while using the built-in hardware in common in the usual memory reproduction mode and the reception reproduction mode. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is composed of an ADSL adaptor 21 being a communication interface receiving AV data sent through a communication channel 20, an operation section 15 selecting the memory reproduction mode outputting a reproduction signal in response to the AV data read from a memory 1 or the reception reproduction mode outputting a reproduction signal in response to the received AV data, and a CPU 17, and also of a reception buffer 22 outputting the received AV data variable depending on a data reproduction processing speed, and a switch circuit 23 outputting selectively a reproduction signal in response to the AV data outputted from the memory 1 in the case of selecting the memory reproduction mode or outputting selectively the reproduction signal in response to the AV data outputted from the reception buffer 22 in the case of selecting the reception reproducing mode. |
