PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of document preparing operation when many documents which are different only partially and in the same form are created. CONSTITUTION: When character data which are different by documents are regarded as parameters at the time of the creation of the documents in the same form, the correspondence between the respective parameters and respective character data is stored in a parameter file 2 and the definitions of document components consisting of independent words or plural words at the time of document creation and the definitions of control components controlling line feeding and page changing, the positions and appearance frequencies of the document components, etc., are stored in a component definition file 3; and a component representation type document is created by using the parameters and the defined components and temporarily stored, and converted into a general language document according to the definitions of the control components included in the stored component representation type document, and actual character data stored in the parameter memory are substituted in the parameters included in the general language document to obtain a target document. |
