<p>PURPOSE: To provide a power cut-off detecting device surely capable of detecting the generation of a power cut-off state in equipment with a security mechanism. CONSTITUTION: When power supply to-equipment is cut-off, a flip-flop circuit 8 is reset. Where the flip-flop circuit 8 is reset at the time of reset starting, judging that power supply was cut-off, a micro computer 2 executes a security process. After that, the computer 2 stores the result of the execution of the security process in an EEPROM 3 and then sets the flip-flop circuit 8. The security performance of the equipment is further improved by replacing the flip-flop circuit 8 with a shift resister or RAM comprising a plurality of bits.</p> |
