PURPOSE: To convert input data according to which of KATAKANA(square form of Japanese syllabary) character string input data and HIRAGANA (cursive form of Japanese syllbary) character string input data the input data is. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with an input means 11 which inputs the input data, recognizing means 12 and 15 which recognize the input data inputted by the input means 11, a converting means 13 which converts the input data according to which of the KATAKANA character string input data and HIRAGANA character string input data the data recognized by the recognizing means 12 and 14 is, a storage means 14 which stores the data converted by the converting means 13, and a display means 16 which displays the data stored in the storage means 14. |
