PURPOSE: To provide an antenna which displays the performance approximately equal to the reception sensitivity of a pole antenna by specifying the length of the connection line which connects a loop main antenna, which is provided in the glass plate of a window of an automobile, and a feed part. CONSTITUTION: A glass plate 9 is provided with a loop main antenna conductor 1, an auxiliary antenna conductor 2, etc., and the main antenna conductor 1 and a feed part 5 are connected by a connection line 4. The length of the connection line 4 is set to <=λK/2 whereλis the wavelength of a transmission/ reception radio wave and K is the reduction rate of the glass antenna. The reception sensitivity is reduced if the length of the connection line 4 exceedsλK/2. and it is preferable that this length is <=λK/4. Thus, the same reception characteristic as a pole antenna is obtained.
