PURPOSE: To enable the positioning of a magnetic disk body with a simple structure and to attain the thinning and miniaturization of a disk driving device as to the disk loading device for loading the magnetic disk housed in a cartridge on a rotary table of the device. CONSTITUTION: A tapered surface 21 and a restraining part 22 are formed on the outer circumference of the rotary table 11, and a vertically movable ring 24 is provided on the tapered surface 21. A tapered part 19 having the inclined angleθ2 slightly larger than an inclined angleθ1 of the tapered surface 21 of the rotary table 11 is provided on a core metal 17 arranged at the center of the magnetic disk 3, then the disk is loaded and positioned in such a manner that the tapered part 19 of the core metal 17 abuts on the ring 24 to push down the ring 24 at the time of loading the cartridge.
