摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a high polymer dispersion type liquid crystal display device which obviates the generation of unequal display and realizes the uniform display within a screen. CONSTITUTION: A substrate sticking machine having stages 10, 11 which are capable of executing exact position control within the planes and exact position control in a direction normal to the main surfaces thereof, are mirror finished at the main surfaces placed respectively with two sheets of substrates and have extremely good flatness is used. The substrates 4, 5 are fixed onto the main surfaces of these stages 10, 11 by suction from suction holes 12 formed on their main surfaces. The counter substrate 4 and the array substrate 5 are arranged to face each other and a pressure is applied thereon until the spacing between both substrates attains about 20μm; thereafter, the substrates are heated up to 200 deg.C while the pressurization state is maintained. Further, a sealant 9 for adhesion consisting of an epoxy resin of a thermosetting type is cured while the inter-substrate spacing (cell gap) is further reduced.
