PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid crystal polyester resin composition having excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance of a molded article, preventing occurrence of mold deposit in molding, by blending a water-adhering liquid crystal polyester resin composition with a fatty acid ester compound. CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. resin composition composed of (A1) a liquid crystal polyester resin [e.g. liquid crystal aromatic polyester(-amide)] capable of forming an anisotropic melt phase and (AII) an inorganic filler such as glass beads and having >=100ppm total adhering water content with (B) 0.1-3 pts.wt. fatty acid ester compound (e.g. pentaerythritol stearate) >=0.5mgKOH/g acid value. The component A is preferably a composition consisting of 30-90wt.% component AI, 10-70wt.% component AII having >=100ppm adhering water content and 0.5-20wt.% carbon black. The component AII is powder having <=70μm average particle diameter.
