PURPOSE: To provide a glass lump molding device for continuously obtaining glass lump having stable weight by constituting the device so as to make weight variability±1% of molded glass lump and further unlimitedly close to zero under any conditions. CONSTITUTION: In a glass lump molding device by receiving glass flowing out from a flow outlet into a receiving mold M to form glass lump, the device is equipped with a retaining member 2 for holding the receiving mold M, a transporting means 3 which vertically movably holds the retaining member 2, and intermittently is operated to successively transport the retaining member 2 and the receiving mold M to the lower part of the glass flow outlet, an intermittently operating mechanism 4 for intermittently working the transporting means 3 and a vertically driving mechanism 6 for vertically moving the retaining member 2 at a fixed position below the glass flow outlet.
