PURPOSE: To improve that operability by reducing the time allocating a waveform sample to a prescribed register. CONSTITUTION: The waveform samples w1, w2 are mapped beforehand (a), and when the new waveform sample w3 is added to the (a) (b), when it is added by automatically mapping processing (c) of full automation A, respective waveform samples w1-w3 are mapped around an assign center note (note number of MIDI=42, 50, 60), and the boudaries of the registers to which respective samples w1'-w3' after mapping belong, are decided so as to become central points between respective assign center notes respectively. On the other hand, when the waveform sample w3 is added by the automatically mapping processing (d) of the full automation B, respective waveform samples w1-w3 are mapped around an original note (note number=40, 47, 57), and the boundaries of the registers to which respective samples w1"-w3" after mapping belong, are decided so as to become central points between respective original notes respectively. |
