PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of image quality by non-coincidence of images due to the state of LED array attachment, etc., in the case of forming a toner image in a state where it is superposed on an image forming body by using plural LED arrays as an image exposing means. CONSTITUTION: The plural LED arrays L are linearly disposed in a direction crossing at a right angle with the moving direction of the image forming body, and, the LED array is divided into plural units LU in a direction crossing at a right angle with the moving direction of the image forming body so as to perform exposure by a unit. A memory 204 keeping data for the deviation amount of each unit in the case where the referential LED array is superposed on the other LED array is provided, an exposure timing controlling means 207 and 208 for controlling the exposure timing of each unit obtained by dividing the LED array based on the data are provided to control the exposure timing to correct the deviation amount. |
