PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and assembly man-hour. CONSTITUTION: A back light 2 of a liquid crystal display device (display device) is constituted of a light transmitting case 11 of which upper surface becomes a light emission surface, a reflection body 14 provided on the bottom surface of the light transmitting case 11, a light diffusing layer 13 provided on the upper surface of the light transmitting case 11 and a fluorescent tube 7 arranged on a groove 15 provided on one end part of the light transmitting case 11. In such a manner, since a usual case and a light transmission plate are integrated as the light transmitting case 11, the number of parts and the assembly man-hour are reduced. |
