摘要 PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a regenerative brake device by keeping the brake hydraulic pressure always zero until the max. regenerative brake power is obtained, in a flow passage between a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder and increasing the brake hydraulic pressure by a hydraulic relaying valve according to the increase and decrease of the operation quantity of a brake pedal. CONSTITUTION: One system of a master cylinder 13 is supplied into the wheel cylinder 19 for front wheels through a hydraulic relaying valve 18, and a regenerative brake device 3 is deriven by driving motor 20 for front wheels. The control pressure is supplied into the fourth pressure chamber 56 of the hydraulic relaying valve 18 by the electromagnetic opening/closing valves 58A and 58B. In this case, even if the brake hydraulic pressure is introduced into the third pressure chamber 46 by a brake pedal 1, a stepped piston 44 is inoperative until the max. regenerative brake power is generated by the regenerative brake device 3, and no hydraulic pressure is supplied into the wheel cylinder 19. Accordingly, the hydraulic relaying valve 18 increases the hydraulic pressure by the portion exceeding the stepping force for obtaining the max. regenerative brake power, and afterwards, the brake power of the wheel cylinder 19 increases according to the stepping force of the brake pedal 1.
