PURPOSE: To obtain a cooling unit for electronic device in which a fan can be removed from a heat sink without rotating them relatively. CONSTITUTION: The base part 35 of a casing 33 is provided, at one corner part thereof, with a leg part 47 having an engaging part at the forward end thereof. The base part 35 is provided, at the other corner part thereof, with a terminal holder 51 containing a plurality of connection terminals. The terminal holding part 67 of the terminal holder 51 is integrally provided with a pair of engaging pieces 71 on the opposite sides thereof. The pair of engaging pieces 71 are provided, at the forward ends thereof, with hooks 71a and the upper end part 71b is long enough to be pinched by fingers. A heat sink 3 is provided, at one corner part thereof, with a part to be engaged with the engaging part provided at the forward end of the leg part 47. The heat sink 3 is provided, at the other corner part thereof, with protrusions 3I1, 3I2 to be engaged with the hooks 71a of the pair of engaging pieces 71. The upper end parts 71b of the pair of engaging pieces 71 are operated at the time of disengagement. |
