PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner in which the air quantity of each chamber to be air-conditioned can be controlled with high accuracy without using a special sensor and time required for construction and adjustment can be decreased without requiring a trial operation mode. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises centrifugal blowers 6 having DC motors 5 mounted in respective branch ducts 4 communicating with chambers 13 to be air-conditioned and DC motor control means 7 formed with switching elements for controlling the current supply to the DC motors 5 from DC power sources 12 based on a gate signal of a microcomputer 14. Further, the air conditioner comprises rotating speed detecting means 8 for detecting the operation rotating speed of the DC motors 5 after the change of this gate signal, rotating speed storing means 10 for storing the rotating speed in respective applied voltages to operate the centrifugal blowers 6 with the air quantities instructed depending on air-conditioning load and control means 11 for controlling the applied voltages to the DC motors 5 so as to make the detected operation rotating speed equal to the stored rotating speed. |
