PURPOSE: To provide a square root circuit having no dispersion in temperature and manufacturing characteristics. CONSTITUTION: This square root circuit is constituted of the feedback route of an operational amplifier 2 and a square rule circuit and the square rule circuit is constituted of a differential pair circuit to be driven by a sum current of a current equal to the drain current of a 1st transistor(TR) M1 of 1st and 2nd TRs M1, M2 constituting the differential pair circuit and a constant current. The output voltage of the square root circuit does not depend upon the threshold voltage of a MOS TR constituting the differential pair circuit. |
