PURPOSE: To optimally charge a portable terminal by informing appropriate charging time from the terminal to a collection/ delivery device in the case of collecting/delivering data such as a sales/work report. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal 1 records operation time, the number of times of printing slips and the number of data inputs. When the terminal 1 is connected to a communication means 4, a collection/delivery controlling means 3 acquires data recorded in the terminal 1 from the terminal 1 and informs the acquired data to a charge managing means 6. The means 6 calculates charging time corresponding to the charging battery of the terminal 1 from the acquired data and the terminal 1 is charged with electricity for the calculated charging time by the means 3 and a charging means 5. |
