CONSTITUTION: A lighting system 10 is embedded in a wall surface in a wet area such as a bathroom, or the like. The lighting system 10 is composed of a container box 11 embedded watertightly inside a wall 4, and a lighting box held in the container box 11 and providing a luminaire 26 therein. Slide rails 33, 34 are provided in the container box 11, and slide bodies 35, 36 sliding along the slide rails 33, 34 are provided on the lighting box so that the front face 24 of the lighting box becomes flush with a wall 4 in the contained state thereof. |
