<p>PURPOSE: To improve operability of a graphic display device for cursor movement or screen movement by using a moving quantity generating part in common by providing a mode selection means to select either a cursor moving mode or screen moving mode. CONSTITUTION: Either the cursor moving mode or screen moving mode is selected by the clicking operation of the button 21a of a mouse 21. The mouse 21 generates moving quantity corresponding to the sliding operation by an operator. A CPU 26 sets and changes the display start address of a display address setting register 29 or a cursor display position on a cursor display circuit 31 corresponding to the moving quantity generated by the mouse 21 according to a moving mode selected by the button state of the mouse 21. Therefore, since the movement control of a cursor or screen can be performed corresponding to the moving quantity, the operability can be improved by using the moving quantity generating part in common with the mouse 21 by selecting either the cursor movement or screen movement.</p> |
