PURPOSE: To decrease the driving load of a photoreceptor and an electrode roller by providing a clearance regulating member regulating an interstice between the photoreceptor and the electrode roller and making an electrophotographic device perform only rolling contact without a sliding part between the photoreceptor and the electrode roller. CONSTITUTION: An image made by toner 24 on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 21 is transferred on the surface of recording paper 30 and the recording paper 30 where the image is formed with the toner 24, is carried to a fixing device. Then, it reaches the electrode roller 25 from the photoreceptor drum 21 passing only one component of a gap roller, and the gap roller is driven by coming into rolling contact with the photoreceptor drum 21 and the electrode roller 25, so that frictional resistance is reduced. Therefore, the rotational load of the photoreceptor drum 21 and the electrode roller 25 is reduced by the clearance regulating member 29. Thus, the driving load of the photoreceptor drum 21 and the electrode roller 25 is decreased. |
