PURPOSE: To reduce the number of revolving cycles of a cylindrical door by one cycle and, at the same time, to make is possible to promote operating rate by mounting a detection device for detecting a passerby going in and out of a doorway in a hollow space thereof, mounting a collation device in the hollow space or outside thereof, and controlling the cylindrical door with a control section when it is decided that the passerby can be made to pass through the doorway. CONSTITUTION: A passerby approaching a doorway 5 is detected by an outside detection switch. By the switch, a collation device 30 can be operated by a control section to open a door toward an outside area 2. After that, when the passerby enters a hollow space 10B of the cylindrical door 10, the passerby is detected by a mat switch 20, a detection signal is transmitted to the control section, the door 10 is reversed to make closing door operation, and a revolving door is closed. Before an opening section 10A of the cylindrical door 10 reaches positions closed with side walls 7 and 8, when it is decided by the collation device 30 that the passerby can be made to pass through the doorway, the cylindrical door 10 can be revolved without stopping the opening section 10A of the cylindrical door 10 at the positions (neutral positions) closed with the side walls 7 and 8. By the constitution, the number of revolving cycles of the cylindrical door 10 can be reduced by one cycle until the passerby passes through the doorway. |
