PURPOSE: To enhance the strength and the beauties of blocks by forming the whole surface of a front layer of concrete blocks with permeable resin or gas which incorporates light emitting elements, and provides pressure resistance and durability to a satisfactory extent. CONSTITUTION: A front layer 1 comprises hard resin having satisfactory strength and permeability or glass having satisfactory strength where a light emitting thin sheet metal is sealed with an upper layer sheet 2 and a lower layer sheet 4. Then, a cylindrical body 8, which is designed to extend a lead wire 5 of a light emitting element 3 outside a concrete block, is installed to substantially the center of the lower layer sheet 4. Then, the light emitting element 3 uses an electroluminescence light emitting element, for example. After the front layer 1 is set to the bottom of a form in the shape of a specified contour, concrete is filled up in there and press-molded so that the front layer 1 may be integrated with the concrete block. This construction makes it possible to prevent a drop in the strength of a pavement, and enhance a luminescent effect and provide a design effect by marking a light emitting portion like well- arranged patterns. |
