The machine has an automatic gluing mouthpiece which runs along two paired parallel side edges of the floor boards (4) on a locating frame (2) and applies glue in a groove on one side edge (6) on the lowermost board (7). A stationary gluing mouthpiece (8) applies glue in the groove in the other side edge (9) on the lowermost board when the board is moved by a driver component (10) to one side from the stack in a direction at right-angles to the first glue application direction. An automatic control is adjusted so that the next board in the stack which is now located lowermost receives glue as soon as the first board is taken out of the gluing machine. The gluing mouthpiece can apply glue when it runs both forwards and backwards along the stack of floor boards. |
