PURPOSE: To detect an abnormal state occurring to a cared person and sends the current state out. CONSTITUTION: The vibration of the cared person is detected by vibration sensors 11x, 11y, and 11z, and the inclination of the cared person is detected by tilt sensors 14x, 14y, and 14z. Feature quantities are generated from the detected vibration and detected inclination, and the state (tumbling, pain, loosing consciousness, and falling asleep) of the cared person is decided through state decision processing on the basis of the feature quantities. According to the state of the cared person, it is decided whether or not an abnormal state occurs to the cared person. According to the abnormal state, a transmission destination is selected out of transmission destinations (home, working office and portable telephone of a person who takes care of the cared person, hospital that the cared person attends, nearby emergency hospital, etc.) which are registered in advance. A radio telephone line signal showing the state of the bearer is generated and send to the selected transmission destination through a radio telephone line. |
