<p>PURPOSE: To transfer a tape using mode smoothly when a power supply is closed or reset. CONSTITUTION: A tape is inserted into the tape deck of a tape deck unit in order to transfer a tape using mode between a plurality of using modes of the tape. A first lever 2-0 and a second lever 100-1 are provided on the driving apparatus of the tape deck unit. A plurality of slits corresponding to the using modes are provided in the first lever 2-0 and the existences of those slits are detected by a first photosensor 4. The second lever 100-1 is interlocked with the first lever 2-0 and, further, has notches with which the parts of the first lever 2-0 where the slits exist and where the slits do not exist are distinguished from each other and the existences of the notches are detected by a second photosensor 101. A control unit 6 moves the first lever 2-0 and the second lever 100-1 when a power supply is closed or reset and determines the slit positions of the first lever 2-0 in accordance with the output level of the second photosensor 101.</p> |
