PURPOSE: To decrease reflection of external light and to improve visibility. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal panel module 1 consists of a liquid crystal layer 2, black matrix 2, color filter and glass 4. Polarizing plates 5, 6 are disposed to interpose the liquid crystal panel module 1 between them. A λ/4 phase plate 7 is disposed between the polarizing plate 6 and a front polarizing plate 8. The λ/4 phase plate 7 changes both of external light entering the liquid crystal panel module 1 and the reflected light from the liquid crystal panel module 1 into circularly polarized light. |
