PURPOSE: To obtain such an automatic exposure camera that failure occurring at the time when a diaphragm is returned to an open position for very photographing action, when the continuous photographing action is executed, is eliminated and the photographing action can be executed according to the intention of a photographer. CONSTITUTION: The automatic exposure camera which can execute the continuous photographing action is constituted so that an exposure control action is executed based on a photometry action, a signal corresponding to a deaphragming action is counted and the count thereof is stopped when a prescribed value is attained. Besides, it is provided with a measurement means 9 counting the signal made to correspond to the diaphragming action and generated from a signal generation means 11, and a storage means 10 storing the counted value thereof. When the continuous photographing action is executed, the first photographing action is controlled based on the generation of the signal corresponding to the diaphragming action. On and after the second photographing action, it is controlled by the signal made to correspond to the diaphragming action and generated within the prescribed time of the first photographing action time. Besides, when a mode is released from a continuous photographing mode, a stored control value is canceled. |
