The detector consists of at least one emitting (1) and one receiving (2,2') electrode, linked to circuits (2,2') which evaluate the signals collected and indicate the presence or absence of the conductor liq. between the electrodes. The electrodes are connected to AC power lines (4,5) with high-power resistances (6,6,6") and capacitances (7,7',7") without specific insulation, electric or galvanic, in relation to the lines (4,5). The electrodes are connected in series with the resistances to ensure that leak currents are under 0.75 mA, and pref. under 0.2 mA, while the insulation resistance is greater than 2 MOhm.
