The container consists of an outer shell (7), closed by a cap (10), and an inner shell (6) with wedging elements (12,13) to prevent the projectile from moving, and locking elements to immobilise its rear end in relation to its three axes. The outer shell contains a further wedging element (22) for the nose of the projectile, while lateral wedges are contained between the outer and inner shells. The container's inner shell is made from injected polyamide reinforced by glass fibres, and it has cut away sections (21).
