PURPOSE: To provide facsimile equipment which never easily causes the shortage of a recording agent even when the replacement of recording agent holding members is impossible for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: Various types are prepared for the ink cartridges 60 that can be attached to and detached from a cartridge holding part 67. For instance, a cartridge 60 of small capacity approximately equal to the conventional one can record about 500 sheets of A4-size forms. Meanwhile a cartridge 60 of large capacity can record the number of sheets several times as many as that of the cartridge of a mall capacity. Thus it is possible to prevent such a case where the ink of the cartridge 60 runs short and the actuation of a facsimile function becomes impossible even when the check of the remaining ink amount and the replacement of ink cartridges are impossible for a long period of time. |
