PURPOSE: To provide such a composition as has dielectric characteristics such as high specific dielectric constant, high Q value in high frequency, and small temperature coefficient of resonance frequency by regulating a rare earth element, Al, Ca, and Ti as metal elements in a specific range and containing specific amount of SrO or BaO. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric ceramic composition contains a rare earth element (Ln), AN, Ca, and Ti as metal elects and when these components are represented as equations by mol. rate, the dielectric ceramic composition contains SrO and/or BaO 0.01 to 10mol.% to the main component 100mol.% which satisfies the following values of a, b, c, d and X; a+b+c+d=l-;0.056⊖a<=0.214; 0.056<=0.214; 0.286<=0.500; 3<=x<=4. A dielectric resonator actuated by electromagnetic field binding is manufactured by using dielectric ceramic consisting of this composition so that a small-size, low loss resonance, and frequency stable to used temperature can be provided. |
