PURPOSE: To obtain a sheet having high reflectance and controlled scattering reflectance and to obtain the balance between the angle of visual field and the luminance at a high level by forming a silver thin film layer having a specified reflectance on a transparent polymer film. CONSTITUTION: A silver thin film layer 20 is formed on the one principal plane of a transparent polymer film 10. As for the transparent polymer film 10, any material such as polyethylene, polystyrene, polyester, polyethersulfone, and polycarbonate may be used as far as it is transparent and has a certain high glass transition temp. The reflection sheet 100 with the silver thin film layer 20 formed shows >=90% reflectance and 25 to 85% scattering reflectance measured through the principal plane where the silver thin film layer 20 is not formed. More preferably, the transparent polymer film has >=75% transmittance to light and 10 to 70% haze. It is preferable that the transparent polymer film contains a white pigment additive. |
