<p>PURPOSE: To detect line of sight without damaging the followup ability of focusing and a velocity of consecutively photographing on plural frames by making the operation state of a means for detecting line of sight differ in accordance with a feeding mode. CONSTITUTION: This camera is provided with a central processing unit (CPU) 100 for a microcomputer as a control means for making an operation starting timing of the means for detecting line of sight (line-of-sight detection circuit) 101 which interlocks with a focus detecting operation in a 1st feeding mode (a mode for exposing one frame and feeding one frame of a film, that is, a feeding mode for single photographing) differ from that in a 2nd feeding mode (a mode for continuously exposing plural frames and continuously feeding the film, that is, a feeding mode for consecutive photographing). And, when the 1st feeding mode is selected, the line-of-sight detection circuit 101 is operated once cooperatlvely with the first focus detecting operation by the CPU 100, on the other hand, when the 2nd feeding mode is selected, the line-of-sight detection circuit 101 is operated by the CPU 100 whenever one frame is exposed and one frame of the film is fed.</p> |
