<p>PURPOSE: To generate modulation pulses comprising various complicated pulse trains without increasing power consumption from a line type pulse modulator to drive a klystron, a magnetron or a TWT or the like used for a radar. CONSTITUTION: Plural PFNs 5a-5n are connected in parallel between a DC power supply 1 and a pulse transformer 9. Discharge switch elements 6a-6n corresponding to the PFNs 5a-5n are provided and the switch elements 6a-6n are on-controlled in different timing with an on-trigger signal from a timing circuit 7. Furthermore, a pulse train having various and more complicated modulation pulse width is obtained simply with a uniform amplitude by selecting the width of pulses generated from the PFNs 5a-5n in a various way.</p> |
