PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel problems related to the pollution of an internal document lamp divided into segments by using a lamp protection cover. SOLUTION: Concerning a lamp device for erasing an electrically charged photoconductive surface, this device is provided with a light source equipped with plural individually controllable optical segments for erasing the prescribed part of charged photoconductive surface, lens member 29 equipped with respective plural segments corresponding to the plural individually controllable optical segments as a member for uniformly propagating beams from the light source to the photoconductive surface, and optical transmission protection cover 31 for preventing the pollution of the lamp device and holding a uniform optical output from that device. |
