PURPOSE: To raise temperature of a reformer without use of exhaust gas from a starting hot air generating furnace, eliminate the accumulation of non- combustion components generated in the starting hot air generating furnace and castable scattering materials inside the furnace on a combustion side catalyst layer in the reformer to avoid flow path blockage and to prevent operation failure. CONSTITUTION: A hot air generating furnace exhaust gas line 58 through which an exhaust gas 56 generated after a cathode gas 4 is heated with a starting heater 57 flows is joined with a cathode exhaust gas line 34 downstream than the branching point of a cathode branching line 59. At the staring of a fuel cell power generating system, the high temperature exhaust gas 56 generated by combustion in a starting hot air generating furnace 50 is introduced into a turbine T of a turbine compressor 21 through the starting heater 57 installed on the way to a cathode circulation line 18. |
