<p>PURPOSE: To estimate a component value of hulled rice even in a state wherein unhulled rice is mixed therein after hulling and thereby to execute quickly and accurately assortment of the unhulled rice received. CONSTITUTION: The relationship between the rate of mixing-in of unhulled rice and a component value of hulled rice is determined beforehand as to a standard sample of which the rate of mixing-in of unhulled rice is known, by a method of near infrared analysis, and then the rate of mixing-in of unhulled rice of a sample of inspection is measured. The corrective amount of the component value of hulled rice of the sample of inspection is determined on the basis of the aforesaid relationship between the rate of mixing-in of the unhulled rice and the component value of hulled rice, the component value of hulled rice with the unhulled rice mixed in of the sample of inspection in the state of the unhulled rice being mixed in is corrected on the basis of this corrective amount of the component value of hulled rice and the component value of pure hulled rice in a completely hulled state of the sample of inspection is estimated therefrom. Even when the unhulled rice received by a rice center is hulled as it is, in an undried state, and a large quantity of unhulled rice is mixed in, an accurate component value of the pure hulled rice can be known immediately, since the component value of hulled rice (the component value of the pure hulled rice) in a state wherein no unhulled rice is mixed therein can be estimated in the state wherein the unhulled rice is left mixed in the hulled rice, and thus the efficiency and accuracy of assortment of raw unhulled rice at the rice center or the like can be improved.</p> |
