摘要 |
PURPOSE: To enhance heat resistance without sacrifice of the conductivity of a conductive polymer by a structure wherein only the layer close to the surface of the conductive polymer contains an antioxidant. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor comprises a step for introducing an antioxidant, blocking oxidation of an organic compound, into a conductive polymer wherein a capacitor element is immersed into a solution containing an antioxidant after formation of a conductive polymer containing no antioxidant. This method produces a solid electrolytic capacitor excellent in heat resistance and high frequency impedance characteristics without sacrifice of the initial ESR. This production method is applicable to a capacitor where the conductive polymer is produced by chemical oxidation polymerization as well as to a capacitor where the conductive layer is produced by electrolytic oxidation polymerization. |
