<p>PURPOSE: To reduce transfer processing of transmission data by a transmission buffer when a protocol header is added. CONSTITUTION: Transmission data are stored so as to be packed backward (toward tail end address AE) in a transmission data storage area provided to a transmission buffer together with a management information storage area having data head address information SA. Idle areas not in use are obtained in preceding areas of the area SD in which the transmission data are stored. Since a protocol header is stored in the idle area, it is not required to transfer the transmission data.</p> |
