发明名称 METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF LENGTH OF DNA PIECE USING GAP ILLARY GEL ELECTROPHORESIS
摘要 PURPOSE: To determine the length of a DNA piece of an unknown specimen by using a method of capillary gel electrophoresis. CONSTITUTION: The mobility of a reference specimen of DNA piece is measured by using the method of capillary gel electrophoresis and the measurement result is fitted to a theoretical formula of mobility of the DNA piece wherein influence of applying a high voltage is considered, and a calibration curve is made. Next, an unknown specimen is measured, then a length of DNA of the unknown specimen is determined on the basis of the calibration curve. The theoretical formula of mobility of the DNA piece wherein the influence of applying a high voltage is considered, is used in the making process of the calibration curve of the reference specimen of the DNA piece which is obtained from the capillary gel electrophoresis, so that it is possible to obtain the accurate calibration curve of the DNA piece and to easily determine the length of the DNA of the unknown specimen.
