PURPOSE: To prevent blurring in a transfer and to reduce the scattering of toner to a transfer paper, while making an image forming device compact by providing a transfer guide member with one end fixed on a pair of carrying guide plates and the other end made free and constituting the transfer guide member of an elastic body. CONSTITUTION: The transfer guide member 18 composed of a thin plate made of an elastic material is provided on the top end part of an auxiliary stay 10 and bent to make a butting angle for butting the transfer paper against a photoreceptor 1 zero and to make it parallel with the common tangent of a transfer belt 5 and the photorecepror 1. Thus, even if a cardboard such as a postal card is used as the transfer paper, it smoothly enters into a transfer part, the curling of the tailing edge of the transfer paper caused by its stiffness can be canceled by the elasticity of the transfer guide member 18 and the tailing edge part of the transfer paper does not flap the photoreceptor 1, so that the blurring in the transfer can be prevented and the stable/excellent image can be obtained. |
