PURPOSE: To perform an overall inspection of the lower part and the upper part of a vial bottle universally without a supporting mechanism and perform continuous judgment by mainly providing CCD cameras, rotating belts, a lifting mechanism and an imaging device, and performing the inspection. CONSTITUTION: With a vial bottle being moved with a rotary table 4 the head part is checked at lower inspecting positions A and B, rotation is made from the upper side and the lower half of the lower part is inspected. At an upper inspecting position C, rotation is made from the upper part with a rotating belt 8 in contact with a drum part, and the upper half of the vial bottle is inspected. The inspection of the entire surface from the head part to the bottom face of the vial bottle is performed by the combined inspection of the respective parts. Furthermore, the reasons why the lower-part inspection are performed beforehand are from the reason that the inspection of the surface of a crystal that is easily broken is performed at first, the inspection is performed under the state wherein the change in crystal shape is as less as possible and the erroneous inspection of the good product is eliminated. Many cameras, which are arranged at the optimum positions for respective defective causes, are used, and the judgment can be performed with a high-speed imaging device, which can continuously process the images at the same time. |
