PURPOSE: To execute qnantitative sound image localization control corresponding to a personal difference by performing audio signal processing using the size of the head part of each person. CONSTITUTION: Measurement means 6A to 6C are provided to a headphone 5. The measurement means 6A, 6B measure head height and inter-autitragus interval of listeners and a head transfer function is calculated by a head transfer function calculation means 8 based on the measurement result and the head transfer function is covoluted to an audio signal S given from a signal source 3 by covolution arithmetic means 4A, 4B. Furthermore, an audio signal sent through a communication line or the like, picked up by a microphone and reproduced by a recorder or an optical disk or the like is used for the signal source 3. The measurement means 6A sets the inter-antitragus interval to a head data setting means 9. Furthermore, the measurement means 6B sets the head height to the head data setting means 9 based on either or both of the inter-antitragus head length and the inter-antitragus interval.
