PURPOSE: To accurately inform a user of the time when all the image forming operation is finished by calculating and obtaining the time required until a series of image forming operation is finished based on the set number of sheets and the decided result by respective decision means. CONSTITUTION: First, the time required for the copying of first paper is decided by collating paper size set by a paper size setting display part 10 with a time discriminating condition in a memory 52. Next, the time required for copying equivalent to one sheet for the second and succeeding paper is decided by collating the paper size set by the display part 10 and magnification set by a magnification setting display part 20 with the time discriminating condition in the memory 52. At the time of starting consecutive copying based on the operation of a copying button 41, the time required until a series of copying is finished is calculated and obtained based on the set number of sheets and the decided results by the respective decision means. The respective arithmetic means inform the user by displaying the obtained required time on a density(time) setting display part 30 for a specified time instead of density display. |
