PURPOSE: To further promote visits to a shop, to store customer data and to plan a strategy for the development, selection and priviledge of best customers by printing new visual printing information on a card and recording mgchanically readable information. CONSTITUTION: A reader/writer 2 and a cash register 3 connected through an interface to a personal computer (computer) 4 are installed at a shop A. Then, the mechanically readable information of a rewrite card (card) 1 is transmitted through the reader/writer 2 to the computer 4 and based on the transmitted information, even the mechanically readable information in the new information provided by being processed on the side of the computer 4 is written through the reader/writer 2 into the recording part of the card 1 as well. Besides, the visual information such as characters or patterns for being displayed on a reloadable display part in the new information is printed and recorded through the reader/writer 2 onto the reloadable display part of the card 1, and the update of information into the card 1 is performed. |
